A few simple habits keep room hunting safe. Please read these before visiting properties or paying anyone.
Before you visit
Always view the property in person before paying any money. Prefer daytime visits and tell a friend or family member where you are going. Use the in-app inspection booking so there is a record of your visit.
Payments
Never pay a booking fee, deposit, or advance before you have seen the room and met the owner. GharDera never asks for payment to view a listing \u2014 anyone who does is not acting for us.
Spotting scams
Be cautious of prices far below the market badge shown on listings, owners who refuse in-app contact, or photos that look like stock images. Report suspicious listings using the report option and we will review them quickly.
Your information
Keep conversations in the app where possible. Never share your citizenship number, banking PINs, or OTP codes with anyone.
